Top riders in action at the Australian Eventing Championships (Equestriad)


SHANE ROSE has won the CIC3* class riding VIRGIL

The 2018 Australian Eventing Championships, presented by Equstriad, attracted more than 700 entries to Bicentennial Park in Camden, NSW, this weekend.


This year, the CIC3* class was won by Shane Rose and Virgil on a score of 38.40. 

Second place went to Shane Rose on Swiper on a score of 41.50, while Amanda Ross on Koko Popping Candy took third place with a score of 56.60. The class drew a decent number of entries this year, with 17 competing.

The CIC2* class was very hotly contested with nearly 50 entries, and it was Emma Mason on Aramatai Foxwho took home the accolades on a score of 38.90. Second place went to Tim Boland  on Napoleon with a score of 41.10, while third went to Gemma tinney  on Annapurna with a score of 46.30.

The CIC1* class was split into two divisions due to the large number of entries. CIC1* A was won by Shane Rose on Togo with a score of 32.40, while CIC1* B leader is Mattea Davidson on Jaybee Vigilante with a  score of 29.90.

EvA60 up to EvA105 classes were also held across the weekend, with large numbers entered across all divisions.
