Top ten finish for Sammi Birch at Blenheim

Sammi Birch and Finduss PFB have finished eighth in the CCI4*L at Blenheim Horse Trials in the UK over the weekend.
Finduss PFB, a 13-year-old KWPN gelding (Saffier x Sarantos) owned by Parkfield Breeding, was one of only seven horses in the 93-strong field to go clear and under time on cross country. Followed by a clear showjumping round, the Sammi and Finduss climbed from 47th after the dressage to finish in the top ten, on their dressage score of 34.4.
Bec Braitling and Caravaggion II also contested the CCI4*L, finished in 58th place.
Australian combinations were also in action in the CCI4*S for 8 & 9YO horses. Sammi Birch rode nine-year-old Jutopia, a KWPN gelding owned by Susan Lamb and Theresa Miller, to 40th place on 49.5 from 95 starters. Isabel English and eight-year-old Cil Dara Dallas, an Australian Warmblood owned by Sarah English, Sofia Von Moltke, Jenny and John Curtis, finished in 52nd on 58.3. Both are now headed to CCI4*L at Boekelo.
