Totilas
By Equestrian Life
Part-owner Paul Schockemohle announced to fans in 2017 that Totilas would “never” be presented to the public eye ever again, but now, this is all set to change.
The world renowned 19-year-old Dutch warmblood stallion will be making a public appearance in hand at the 2019 KWPN Stallion Licensing show, in the Netherlands on the 1st of February, 2019.
Totilas retired from competition life after winning team bronze at the 2015 European Championships. Totilas was diagnosed with periostitis of the coronet band on his left hind hoof shortly after the European Championships in Aachen. He was officially retired from the sport after an official statement from the German Equestrian Federation, on the 18th of August 2015.
Totilas will be presented in hand during a presentation at the Stallion Licensing show, alongside his offspring Toto Jr., Trafalgar and Total U.S.
The KWPN is expecting a spike in tickets sales, due to the exciting opportunity to see the magnificent stallion in the flesh once more.
