Stuart Tinney and Celebration led from start to finish in the CCI4*-S.

Stuart Tinney and Celebration have stormed to victory in the CCI4*-S class at Wallaby Hill International with a final score of 29.80 penalties, leading the class from start to finish. Adding just 3.2 time penalties in the cross country phase and 0.8 time penalties in the show jumping phase to their outstanding dressage score of 25.80 penalties, the pair have made their presence felt ahead of Tokyo Olympics Eventing team selection.

Sam Lyle claimed second place with BF Valour on a score of 32.40 penalties, while Shenae Lowings was just 0.1 penalty behind with Bold Venture to finish the event in third place. Shane Rose finished in fourth and fifth place with Virgil and Easy Turn respectively, while Sonja Johnson’s trip from Western Australia was worthwhile – she finished in sixth place with Misty Isle Valentino.

With very strong entry numbers across all levels, competition was fierce at Wallaby Hill in all national and international classes, with some outstanding results posted. In the CCI3*-S class, Andrew Barnett continued his winning run with Go Tosca, finishing on a total of 31.40 penalties ahead of Andrew Cooper in second and third place riding Hey Arnold and Tiraumea Sportsman respectively.

Emma Mason won the CCI2*-S class with KPH Kingfisher on 31.60 penalties, while Judith Clarke and Uka claimed victory in the CCN1*-S with 30.80 penalties.
