The Olympic champion mare, Paulank Brockagh, previously ridden by Australian Eventer Sam Griffiths has welcomed her first foal.

Together with the Thoroughbred stallion, Centennial, from Coolin Stud in the west of Ireland, ‘Brocks the Wonder Mum’ has produced a stunning and exciting offspring.
For seven years, Sam Griffiths and Brocks shared a highly successful partnership that delivered an individual fourth place and a team bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
After retiring from competition last year, Brocks returned to the home of her breeders, Frank and Paula Cullen, in County Wicklow, Ireland.
“Frank and I are delighted to have been given the opportunity to bring Brocks home to retire and huge thanks to the generosity of her owners the Posford families and Sam Griffiths who has been her rider for the past 10 years,” said breeder Paula Cullen.

“Their decision came following the cancellation of Badminton 2020 where Brocks was to retire.. when asked if we would take her back, we were never in doubt about accepting such an offer from her wonderful owners.”
“Exciting times ahead as she will be retained to carry on this lovely performance pedigree.”
