Aussie Jake Hunter finishes seventh in CSI4* Grand Prix
By Equestrian Life
Australian show jumper Jake Hunter, 24, has finished a very credible seventh in a CSI4* Grand Prix in Poznan, Poland.
Jake qualified aboard Jativia for the Grand Prix, before jumping clear in the first round to make the jump off alongside 13 other combinations. Just one rail down and a fast time saw the pair clinch seventh place; their time was the second fastest in the jump off, although five jumped clear.
Jativia (Cardento 933 x Tativia (Gottwald)) is a grey Belgian Warmblood mare, bred in 2009 by Dannu Mortier. She is owned by Dani Goldstein Waldman with Jake being listed as a part owner on the FEI database earlier this year. Dani previously competed the horse.
Poland’s Wojciech Wojcianiec and Chintablue won the Grand Prix. Full results can be found here.
