Aussies line up for Luhmühlen

Luhmühlen Horse Trials is underway in Germany, with the first horse inspections for the CCI5*-L and CCI4*-S taking place on Wednesday.
The Longines CCI5*-L competitors presented their energetic and wonderfully turned-out horses to the Ground Jury and FEI Veterinary Delegate Dr. Matthias Baumann. Forty horses were accepted, including Huberthus AC for Australian Bill Levett.
Three horses were sent to the holding box. Oliver Townend’s (GBR) Tregilder and Florian Ganneval’s (FRA) Blue Bird de Beaufour were accepted after their second trot. Nico Aldinger (GER) decided against presenting Timmo again.
Thursday’s dressage will start at 9.30am local time with the CCI4*-S Meßmer Trophy / German Championship. The Longines CCI5*-L dressage test begins at 1:45pm local time with Oliver Townend (GBR) and 9-year-old Cooley Rosalent.
Bill Levett and Huberthus AC will ride their test in the second half of the CCI5*-L draw, which is due to take place on Friday, 16 June. The pair are schedule to ride at 3.15pm local time, 11.15pm AEST.
Kevin McNab and Willunga will contest the CCI4-*S, also competing in the second half of the draw on Friday. The pair are scheduled to ride at 11.22am local time, 7.22pm AEST.
