2020’s only CCI5*-L is off to a flying start, with two Australians in the top 10 after day one of the dressage.

Chris Burton and Graf Liberty performed a flawless test to score 78.02% and 22.0 penalties, enjoying a narrow lead over Great Britain’s Piggy March and Brookfield Innocent on 22.2 penalties. Rosalind Canter is currently in third place for Great Britain on 24.8 penalties with Zenshera.

Kevin McNab was delighted with Scuderia 1918 Don Quidam, who scored 72.41% to take 9th place on 27.6 penalties. Sadly Isabel English and Feldale Mouse have withdrawn from the competition.

Day two of the dressage will see Kevin McNab ride his second horse, Scuderia 1918 A Best Friend. In total, there are 48 combinations in the CCI5*-L competition.

The programme, times, results and start lists are available on the “Les 5 étoiles de Pau” mobile App or on the event website.
