Australian driving sensation Boyd Exell has enjoyed success at the FEI Driving World Cup leg at Equita Lyon in France, winning the leg after taking out the second competition.
Boyd’s team, which included horses Bajnok, Rocket, Mad Max and Barny, kicked off the event with a third place in the first competition. With the retirement of one of his indoor team, Demi, replacement Mad Max was beginning to find his rhythm and by the second competition the team proved unbeatable.
“A great feeling to be back at the World Cup Indoor Season, [Lyon] was the result of horses and people on carriage finding form, together, like a team,” said Boyd following the win.
