Former World Eventing Champion, British Olympian, and granddaughter of The Queen Zara Tindall (nee Phillips) is pregnant with her third child.
Zara’s husband Mike Tindall, a former rugby star, revealed the happy news on his podcast The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, saying that his wife was being careful after having previously suffered two previous miscarriages.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were “delighted” by their granddaughter’s pregnancy.
“It’s been a good week for me, had a little scan last week – third Tindall on its way.”
The couple already have two daughters, Mia, 6, and 2-year-old Lena.
Speaking on his podcast, Mike Tindall said: “It’s been a good week for me, had a little scan last week – third Tindall on its way”, adding “I’d like a boy this time, I’ve got two girls, I would like a boy. I’ll love it whether a boy or a girl – but please be a boy.”
Congratulations Zara and Mike!
