Ridley is Australia’s leading provider of stock feeds and high performance animal nutrition solutions. We are passionate about supporting people who make a living rearing and caring for animals – from the small backyard hobbyists and animal enthusiasts to the farmers working the huge pastoral farms of Northern Australia, and other commercial enterprises.

Our business operates in both the business to business (B2B) channel and the business to consumer (B2C) channel, servicing customers across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and more recently SE Asia.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and self-driven marketing & brand manager to join our small team of 5 passionate marketing professionals, and help us take one of our key growth brands into the next phase of growth for the equine feeds portfolio.

You will be given autonomy to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to drive growth both in our retail footprint and direct to consumers, as well as through our B2B channels. This is a multi-faceted role encompassing brand management, events and sponsorships, digital and social marketing, ambassador engagement, consumer research, product development and launches.

The key requirements and responsibilities for this position include:

•    A love of horses and experience working with or owning horses
•    Degree qualified in marketing with a minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience in a similar role
•    The role will develop and manage annual equine brand plans and associated budgets
•    Driving brand growth through solid consumer engaging media, PR and digital strategy and activations
•    Maintain and build the business’s market intelligence on our consumers, customers and competitors, including research when required.
•    Develop and execute marketing advertising, communication and promotional programs.
•    Project manage new product and new packaging initiatives
•    Manage the equine sponsorship and ambassador programs and annual equine event plan
•    An ability to multi-task supported by excellent organisation and time management skills.
•    Solid analytical skills and ability to extract information and insights from numerical and non-numerical data.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with effective listening skills.
