US-based Australian eventer Dominic Schramm has finished second in the CCI4*S at Stable View Oktoberfest in Aiken, South Carolina, with Bolytair B.

The paired scored 32.2 to be 14th after the dressage, and then added just 0.8 time penalties from the jumping and 0.8 time penalties on cross country to finish on 33.8 in second place. Phillip Dutton and Fernhill Singapore won the class on 28.6.

Dom and Bolytair B were the second fast cross country round of the competition.

Fellow Australian Clayton Fredericks had two horses in the field, FE Stormtrooper and FE Coldplay, finishing 7th and 17th respectively. Both Dom and Clayton will now head to Maryland CCI5*L in October, as will another Australian rider, Ema Klugman.

Dom also finished a close fourth in the CCI2*S at Stable View Oktoberfest with Quadrocana on a score of 30.2.
