Elliot Patterson and Santiago compete in Europe

Queensland dressage rider Elliot Patterson has stepped out in Europe with Emma Weel’s stunning Santiago (Sandro Hit x Fashionista), posting some very promising scores.

The pair achieved a CDI PB of 68.152% in the CDI3* Grand Prix at Aachen Dressage Days in Hagen, finishing 16th in a big class of 37 quality combinations. Having achieved a 66%+ score, the pair now have one of two required FEI MERs for the upcoming World Championships.

Andreas Helgstrand and Jovian — a horse whom many feel will be a serious future star — claimed the win on 76.348%.

A few weeks earlier at their first outing in Germany, Elliot and Santiago scored just shy of 70% to finish second in a national class (CDN).

Congratulations Elliot and Santiago — we look forward to following your progress!
