As bushfires continue to cause destruction in Western Australia, Equestrian Western Australia (EWA) in conjunction with the Australian Sports Foundation has established a Bushfire Relief Fund to assist equestrians who have suffered losses and damage.

The fires, burning in the Perth hills, have so far burnt over 10,000 hectares, with 86 properties confirmed as lost.

All donations received via the EWA Bushfire Relief Fund will support replacing damaged sports equipment for equestrians impacted by the fire.

To donate directly to the EWA Bushfire Relief fund, click here. Funds will be adminstered by a Committee consisting of 3 or 4 appointed members, and are tax deductible.

Our thoughts are with the Western Australian equestrian community as fires continue to impact the state.
