FEI World Championships 2022 Australian selection policies released

Equestrian Australia has announced that the FEI World Championships 2022 Australian selection policies are now available.

This year the FEI World Championships 2022 will be hosted across three locations in lieu of a World Equestrian Games.

The FEI World Championships for Dressage, Jumping, Para-Equestrian and Vaulting will take place in Herning, Denmark from 6th – 14th August 2022, while the FEI World Championships for Driving and Eventing will be held in Pratoni, Italy from 15th – 25th September 2022. In addition, the FEI Endurance World Championships for Seniors will be held on 22nd October in Verona, Italy.

EA High Performance will be offering a webinar on Monday, March 21st at 08:30am AEDT for all Dressage, Eventing, and Jumping athletes who intend to campaign for FEI World Championship team selection later this year. The webinar will be presented by EA High Performance Director, Chris Webb, and will run for approx. 30-minutes outlining the selection process and requirements.

Monday 21st March – AUS 08:30 AEDT/ 07:30 AEST
Sunday 20th March – USA 17:30 EST / GBR 21:30 GMT/ EUR 22:30 CET

SELECTION POLICIES

Dressage – maximum four (4) athletes, to view selection policy click here
Driving – maximum three (3) athletes, to view selection policy click here
Endurance – maximum five (5) athletes, to view selection policy click here
Eventing – maximum five (5) athletes, includes one (1) team reserve combination, to view selection policy click here
Jumping – maximum five (5) athletes, includes one (1) team reserve combination, to view selection policy click here
Para-Equestrian – maximum four (4) athletes, to view selection policy click here
Vaulting – maximum one (1) squad, three (3) individual male vaulters, three (3) individual female vaulters and three (3) pas de deux combinations, to view selection policy click here

* Please note: the FEI allocate ‘quota spots’ per discipline for each national federation pertaining to the number of combinations approved to travel to the FEI World Championships to represent their country. The Australian quota for each discipline is listed above along with the selection criteria.
