Gestut Sprehe’s stallion Bernay has sadly passed away

By Equestrian Life

EuroDressage has reported that Gestut Sprehe’s Oldenburg licensed breeding stallion, Bernay, has passed away unexpectedly.

The lightly competed eight-year-old (by Boston) was showing huge promise with Australian dressage rider Simone Pearce, winning at his recent national level Big Tour debut with over 70%.

In a recent interview with Equestrian Life, Simone spoke of the horse’s talent in the competition arena and how an international Grand Prix debut was on the cards for next year.

Our thoughts are with the Simone Pearce and team at Gestut Sprehe.
