Harry Charles’ success continues in London
By Equestrian Life
Showjumping young gun Harry Charles has enjoyed further success at the London International Horse Show, notching a win in the London Grand Prix with 15-year-old Borsato. The win follows his victory in the World Cup Qualifier with Stardust.
The 22-year-old, who represented Great Britain at the Tokyo Olympics earlier this year, was thrilled to claim a second win at this prestigious show.
Second place in the London Grand Prix went to Ben Maher and Ginger-Blue, while third went to France’s Edward Levy and Rebeca LS, and fourth went to Harrie Smolders and Donlinn N.O.P.; the top four produced clears in the jump off, meaning it all came down to time. Harry Charles and Borsato clocked 33.53 seconds to narrowly beat Ben and Ginger-Blue on 33.94.
Harry has certainly been in fine form to end the year; mid-December, he also claimed the 1.60m Cupe de Geneve class at CHI Geneva with Borsato.
