Hat-trick for Sophia Hill at Wandin

The Horseland Wandin Park International Horse Event took place over the weekend in Victoria, with a number of FEI classes held from two-star to four-star.

The CCI4*S went to the in-form Sophia Hill riding off-the-track (OTT) Thoroughbred Humble Glory. The pair scored 34.3 in the dressage and added no further penalties to their score to finish atop the leaderboard. David Middleton and WEC In The Money were second on 35.3, while Sam Jeffree and Wimborne Conjuror were third with 47.5.

Sophia’s success didn’t end with the four-star. Riding Tulara Baltango, she won the CCI2*S on 30.1 to finish ahead of Will Enzinger and Epic Xtreme on 34.4, and Annabel Cargill riding Collette D on 35. Sophia also won the OTT CCI2*S with Seattle Park on a score of 37.7.

The CCI3*S went to Teegan Ashby and Magic Mushroom TAE, with the pair adding just 0.4 of a cross country time penalty to their dressage score to finish on 29.1. Molly Lines and OTT Tadpole were second on 33.5, while Sam Jeffree was again third, this time with Santoro on 37.5.
