Scott Brash’s has announced the retirement of his incredible show jumper, Hello Sanctos. The immensely talented 17-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding is the only horse to have won the Rolex Grand Slam of showjumping, which was done by winning the Rolex Grand Prix of Geneva in 2014, The Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen, as well as Spruce Meadows in 2015.

Brash and Hello Sanctos were also part of the gold-medal winning team at the 2012 London Olympics, and competed in multiple 5* Grand Prix classes and recorded numerous podium finishes.

On his official Idnstagram account, Brash writes: “After an incredible journey together, my owners and I have decided it’s time to retire the legendary Hello Sanctos. This short film highlights just what an amazing horse he is and we can’t thank him enough for changing our lives. We will have a special retirement service for him at CHI de Genève on Saturday 14th December, a show that means a lot to us as it is where his Rolex Grand Slam journey started.”

EQ Life wishes Hello Sanctos a very happy retirement!
