Australian vaulting star Jamie Hocking has pulled the pin on his FEI World Championship campaign, citing a shoulder injury as the reason he won’t be vying for team selection.

“Some news regarding the championship coming up here in August! I won’t be competing for Australia. I made the decision to pull out because I need to take the time to get my shoulder back to health! Wishing everyone their best at Herning 2022; I’ll be cheering for the other Aussies and for my friends too!” said Jamie via social media.

Jamie also revealed happier news that his 2018 WEG horse, French Kiss, has given birth to a gorgeous colt foal.

We wish Jamie all the best with his recovery and we look forward to seeing him back competing for Australia in the near future!
