Australian dressage rider Jayden Brown has his first competition scheduled in the UK, with the plan being to compete at Wellington this Friday and Saturday with WillingaPark Quincy B.

“Quincy will start in the CDN Prix St Georges on Friday and the Inter 1 on Saturday,” says Jayden.

WillingaPark Sky Diamond was entered for a possible start in the CDI3* Grand Prix, however the team has decided he needs a little more time post-travel before his first competition.

“We aren’t starting at Wellington with Sky Diamond. After travel, he just needs a little bit more time to settle in,” explains Jayden.

With the support of Terry and Ginette Snow of Willinga Park, Jayden has travelled to the UK with six horses and grooms Madeline Leeden and Lillie Connelly. Since the start of the month they have been based at Chedington Equestrian in Dorset, home of fellow Aussies Chris and Bek Burton, where they plan to remain for two years in the lead up to the Paris Olympics.

“Chedington is beautiful,” says Jayden. “Chris and Bek Burton have been so helpful to make sure we are settled in here.”

Equestrian Life wishes Jayden the best of luck with Quincy B’s UK competition debut!
