Jonty Evans and his Rio Olympic mount, Cooley Rorkes Drift, otherwise known and “Art”, are to be reunited with the public eye at the Belton International Horse Trials, which will be held from the 29th to the 31st of March.
Jonty and his crowd funded 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding will return to the horse trials in Lincolnshire, and make their first public appearance together since Jonty’s accident.
Jonty and Cooley Rorkes Drift won the CIC3* Lycetts Grantham Cup at the Belton Horse Trials last year.

Jonty has been making a strong and steady recovery since his accident at the Tattersalls International horse Trials last year, and has even jumped ‘Art’ since!
The combination began by jumping poles in the arena, but has since progressed onto logs on course. You can view the video of jonty and Art jumping together here!
