Jonty Evans was in a serious condition in hospital after a fall on the cross-country course in the CIC3* class at the Tattersalls International Horse Trials last year, on the the 3rd of June. Jonty remained unconscious after his fall for weeks after the accident, and sustained a significant brain injury. Jonty has since been making a slow and steady recovery.
The Irish Olympic eventer posted a video to Facebook on the 9th of February of himself jumping his crowdfunded eventing star, Cooley Rorkes Drift at the Talland School of Equitation, just eight months after his accident.
Jonty was full of praise for his 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, “Art:”, and for the whole team at Talland School of Equitation.
