Melbourne International Three-Day Event announces CCN4*S for Olympic long-listed combinations

By Equestrian Life

Melbourne International Three-Day Event begins later this week, with classes to include the prestigious CCI4*L alongside a CCI3*L, CCI2*L, CCI2*L Junior, CCN1* Off The Track, and the Young Horse Eventing Challenge.

However, being an Olympic year, the event has also just announced that it will host a special CCN4*S (short format national-level class) for combinations who are long listed for the Paris Olympics.

“Melbourne International Three-Day Event has kindly agreed to run a short format class for long listed Olympic combinations to have a final run prior to selection at the end of June,” says Equestrian Australia’s High Performance Director, Will Enzinger.

The four combinations set to compete are:

Shane Rose and Virgil (owned by N & S Rose, M Hasibar)

Olivia Barton and Hollyander HG (owned by R Weight)

Andrew Cooper and Sharvalley Thunder (owned by A Cooper)

Shenae Lowings and Bold Venture (owned by L & M Lowings, S Lowings)
