Paul Tapner is back in the saddle
By Equestrian Life
UK-based Australian eventer Paul Tapner is back in the saddle one year on from suffering a serious head injury in a fall while out hacking.
Horse & Hound reported that the 2010 Badminton winner has ridden three horses in the last week, including his advanced eventer Bonza King of Rouges.
Earlier in his recovery, he’d said he wasn’t sure he’d ride again , however his recovery has now progressed to the point where he says it feels normal to be in the saddle.
Equestrian Life wishes Paul all the best with his continued recovery and it’s fantastic to see him back riding!
