Pippa Funnell launches webinars in conjunction with World Horse Wefare

British eventing great Pippa Funnell has teamed up with World Horse Welfare to help launch a series of webinars – which are free to access!

Welfare Wednesday webinars launch Wednesday June 17, from 7pm BST (4am Thursday AEST – details on how to watch a replay below).

The first webinar, featuring Pippa, is called ‘Maintaining Your Horse’s Fitness over Summer 2020’ and while targeted at those in the Northern Hemisphere will no doubt provide Australian riders with some great practical tips as well.

The webinar will provide advice and guidance on everything from bringing a horse back in to work, assessing the fitness of your horse and creating a fitness plan, as well as how to taper a horse’s workload should you need to reduce their level of work.

The webinar will be hosted by the charity’s chief executive Roly Owers, and Pippa Funnell will be speaking alongside Adam Cummins, centre manager at World Horse Welfare’s Lancashire-based Penny Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

Sign up for the first webinar here.

The webinars will be available to watch back on the
World Horse Welfare website afterwards, so don’t worry if it turns out you can’t make the 4am AEST start this time – you’ll still be able to benefit from Pippa and Adam’s advice.
