The 2019 German Dressage Championships are over for another year, and both Dorothee Schneider and Isabell Werth are gold medal winners.

The Grand Prix serves as a ‘warm up’ class at the Championships, with medals given out in the Special and Freestyle. Werth and Bella Rose won the class, with Schneider and Showtime second… a sign of things to come in the medal deciders!
In the Special, it was a return to winning ways for the lovely Showtime (who’s been out through injury) and Dorothee Schneider. Werth and Bella Rose went off course in the Special, likely costing them the win.
In the Freestyle, Bella Rose and Showtime were rested, however Werth won the class with the younger Emilio, and Schneider finished fourth with Sammy Davis Jr.
