Simone Pearce and Diamond First qualify for Bundeschampionate

By Equestrian Life

Simone Pearce may have just been named on the Australian dressage team for Tokyo, but she’s not taking any days off tho celebrate!

Simone was busy over the weekend competing young stallion Diamond First, who gained a qualification for the Bundeschampionate (German Championships for young horses).

The pair were third at Schafhof CDI4* in the M-level class for six-year-olds, scoring a total of 8.2.

On Sunday, the pair then won the M-level test at Darmstadt.

“It’s been a busy weekend for us: on Friday we had our first 6yo M-level start and despite a big miscommunication in the trot tour we were able to qualify for the Bundeschampionate at Schafhof CDI4*.

“(Diamond First) was also able to produce a super test to win the young horse M in Darmstadt. For me this stallion is the pinnacle of a future Grand Prix sports star!”

Congratulations Simone and Diamond First!
