Australian dressage rider Simone Pearce has produced an outstanding performance at a national show in Wedel, Germany. Paired with Grand Prix debutant Scolari, she scored a huge 74.6% to win the class. The three judges were unanimous in awarding them first place.

“I have had Scolari since I first moved to gestut sprehe in October last year,” says Simone. “We have just been working on developing as a combination in the last few months and now I feel we are really understanding each other and have managed a promising competition debut. So I’m looking forward to continuing to see where things take us!”

This is possibly an Australian record Grand Prix score for Simone, however being a national class it is difficult to track previous results. The Australian Grand Prix CDI record is held by Kristy Oatley and Du Soleil with 73.913%.
