Do you know someone with a flair for horsemanship and showmanship?
The Australian Outback Spectacular is on the hunt for a new male-lead stockman to star in their much-loved family show on the Gold Coast.
The role of ‘Jimmy’ takes centre-stage as the main male character in the Australiana-themed show ‘Heartland’ that tells the story of a family mustering during a drought.
As described in the advertisement: “Jimmy is a young local lad who offers to help the Carson family bring their cattle in during one of the worst droughts Australia has ever seen.”
“He is caring and honest and has a special place in his heart for the Carson’s daughter, Sarah, although he has trouble expressing it.”
“As Jimmy struggles to find the words to tell Sarah how he feels he is taken on an amazing journey when he catches and tries to tame a beautiful black brumby.”
With the show performed largely on horseback, Village Roadshow is accepting applications now from males between 18-25 years with exceptional riding skills and horsemanship abilities. The successful applicant must also have strong performance skills, and previous acting experience is a bonus.
