Today saw the 2018 Australian Youth Dressage Championships (AYDC) conclude at Boneo Park on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

Following a win in the FEI Grand Prix Freestyle 16-25 years with 73.242%, Fern Wright and Kamber Pryderi took out the FEI Big Tour Championship, ahead of Jamie Mita and Carabino.

Jamie managed to win the FEI Young Rider Championship riding Westawind after taking out the FEI Young Rider Freestyle 16-21 years today.
The FEI Intermediate I Freestyle 22-25 years was won by Emily O’Connell and Moonlight Park Foxtrot. The pair also won the FEI Small Tour Championship.
Jessica Hivon and Greenoaks Weltmann narrowly won the Junior Championship ahead of Lindsey Ware and Lets Jazzaround after Jessica placed first in the FEI Junior Freestyle 14-18 years
The FEI Pony Championship was won by Jasmine Haynes and Steendieks Champ of Glory; the pair were second in the FEI Pony Freestyle today with a great score of 70.367%, just pipped by Sophie Taylor and Raven Lodge Aura on 71.842%. Sophie finished third in the Championship.

The Medium Freestyle was won by Isabella MacNamara and Eaglewood Renown on 70.250%, while the Novice Freestyle went to Jazi French and Karlana Déjà vu.
Tayla Desmet and Zaubermaus was the Participation Novice Championship after winning both classes with big scores of 76.019% and 75.786%. The Preliminary Championship went to Sidney Churchman and Jenjan Furst Star, while the Pony Preliminary Championship went to Katya Bathurst riding the ageless Blue Dust Chardonnay; the pair won both tests.
