The 2018 Saddleworld Melbourne International 3 Day Event began today at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre.

Today saw the IRT Young Eventing Horse Challenge, as well as the first horse inspection for all CCI classes.

Tomorrow is dressage day for the CIC3* and half of the competitors in the CCI2*, CCI1* and CCIJ1* classes, while Saturday will see the second half of the CCI1*, CCIJ1* and CCI2* combinations ride their tests, as well as the CCI3* entrants. Friday the dressage will kick off from 8.10am, while Saturday will see the action begin from 8.30am.

Sunday is cross country day from 8am, with all levels in action. Following the conclusion of the cross country, there will be a show jumping speed competition in the indoor.

On the Monday, all levels will complete the final phase — show jumping. Competition commences from 8.45am.
