The 2019 edition of Burghley Horse Trials is set to get underway, with the trot up to take place today.

This year, there are two Australian riders competing – Isabel English with Feldale Mouse, and Dominic Schramm with Bolytair B.

Isabel is currently based in the UK. She contested Badminton earlier in the year, and was recently part of the Australian Nations Cup team at CHIO Aachen.

Dominic is based in the US, and has made the trans-Atlantic trip for Burghley.

The trot up is today, followed by the dressage Thursday and Friday, cross country Saturday, and showjumping on the Sunday.
