The legendary eventer Winsome Adante (Saunter x Juswith Genoa) has passed away at the age of 26.
Known affectionately as “Dan”, he was owned by Linda Wachtmeister, ridden by Kim Severson, and bred in England by Janet and Chris Gooch.
Winsome Adante competed in 47 event between 2000 and 2007, placing in the top three in 39 of them. He won numerous big events, including the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day event an incredible three times.
The famous eventer was also USEA Horse of the Year three times and was inducted into the USEA’s Eventing Hall of Fame in 2015.
