Charlotte scored an impressive score of 79.12 percent on the 8-year-old Dutch warmblood, Florentina VI at this year’s 70th Horse of The Year Show.

Second place was awarded to Nicola Buchanan on the 9-year-old Hanoverian gelding, Halfmoon Dark Magic with a score of 75.04 percent. Third place was awarded to Becky Moody and Eureko with 74.7 percent, fourth was awarded to Emile Faurie and Cafe’s Caletta, who received a final score of 74.54 percent. Fifth place was awarded to Alice Oppenheimer and Headmore Davina with 73.75 percent, 6th went to Laura Tomlinson and Fallatijn Van Kairos, seventh was awarded to Lewis Carrier and Diego V with 71.37 percent and eighth place was awarded to Nikki Barker and Durable with a final score of 70.79 percent.

The Future Elite Championships class is designed to allow upcoming horses between the ages of eight and ten to perform an inter I freestyle test against other upcoming talented horses.

Charlotte won the Future Elite Championship title at the Horse of The Year Show in 2016 with the dark brown Hanoverian gelding, Hawtins Delicato, which is owned by Carl Hester and Anne Cory. The following year, Charlotte won the same title on the nine-year-old Hanoverian mare, Mount St John Freestyle, with a total score of 75.152 percent.
