For the second year running, the Magic Millions Horse Racing and Sales Festival incorporated a day of showjumping at Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast.
This year, the event offered unprecedented prizemoney across Junior and Senior classes; the Senior team competition boasted a prize pool of nearly $1.5 million, while the Juniors vyed for a share in $10,000. The Magic Millions has now become the richest showjumping event in Australia.
In the Juniors, it was Elissa Stephens and Vertigo who performed the best over the Graeme Watts designed course, clinching the win ahead of Ella Hayward and Edena DPO, with Jack Barker and Tulara Colchic in third.
Fourth went to Charlie Magnier and Quinn Z, then came Emily Lang-McMahon and Glenara Mudslide, Jett Newman and Wanda, Cody Tincknell and Screwdriver, and finally Alexandra Inglis and Palm Beach rounding out the placings.
