Vegas Showgirl gave birth an I am Invincible filly last week

Legendary mare Winx has a new half-sister on the ground after Vegas Showgirl gave birth to an I Am Invincible filly.
Segenhoe Group announced the filly’s birth on Tuesday, with the foal now six days old.
It’s Vegas Showgirl’s 12th foal and her first by I Am Invincible.
The filly was bred by John and Deb Camilleri of Fairway Thoroughbreds.
Coincidently, Winx is also in foal to I Am Invincible, with an expected delivery in mid-to-late October.
The latest of Vegas Showgirl’s foals to race is Covent Garden who, like Winx, is trained by Chris Waller.
The Snitzel three-year-old has now had three unplaced race starts, with her latest a 5.18-length defeat in a Newcastle maiden on September 18.
Vegas Showgirl’s stud career:
2009 – Slipped to Encosta De Lago.
2010 – MISS ATOM BOMB (by Encosta De Lago). Unraced.
2011 – WINX (by Street Cry) – 43 starts – 37 wins. Record earnings of $26.54 million.
2012 – WIN WIN LEADER (by Fastnet Rock) – Sold to Hong Kong for $220,000. Unraced.
2013 – IL DIVINO (By Snitzel) – 12 starts, 2 wins (including group 3). Deceased.
2014 – BOULDER CITY (by Snitzel) – Sold as yearling for $2.3m. Unraced.
2015 – Missed to Snitzel.
2016 – COURCHEVEL (by Snitzel). Unraced. Retired.
2017 – COVENT GARDEN (by Exceed And Excel). 3 starts, 0 wins.
2018 – Missed to Exceed And Excel.
2019 – Filly by Deep Impact.
2020 – Filly by I Am Invincible
