Day three of The Saddlefitter Brisbane CDN
By Equestrian Life
It was another beautiful day at picture-perfect QSEC for The Saddlefitter Brisbane CDN!
Equestrian Life’s live stream of the event began today with the County Saddlery CDN Intermediate I (Open) on the main arena. The class was won by Alexis Hellyer and Bluefields Doris Day on 71.667%, who narrowly beat yesterday’s PSG Open winners Elloise Devlin and Brimstone Florente on 70.686%.
The County Saddlery CDN Intermediate I (AAOR) went to yesterday’s PSG winners, Lee Muir-Clarke and Davinci L (pictured). The pair scored 68.873%, and with both Small Tour wins under their belt, they took out the Small Tour Championship.
The next Vision Freight Forwarding Under 25 Grand Prix went to Eliza Cullen and Dobria De Jeu on a score of 56.624%.
The Martin Collins CDN Grand Prix Special had just two competitors, with others opting to ride just tomorrow’s Freestyle. The class went to Danielle Shearer and Riverview Cinderella on a score of 59.525%. Emma Flavelle-Watts and Cabaret C were pulling off a beautiful test until the mare unfortunately left the arena early, apparently unsettled with the afternoon sun suddenly at eye level. It was super unlucky for Emma as it resulted in elimination, however as the last combination to go they were able to return to the arena and ride a couple of laps to end on a good note, which was lovely to see. Unfortuantely sometimes things don’t go to plan!

Harvey Besley and Remi Lord Darcy may not have won either class, bu they produced two very consistent tests with scores over 70% and took out the overall Elementary Open Champion title.
