Australia finished 11th in the Odense round of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup – the team of Jamie Kermond (Yandoo Oaks Constellation), Julia Hargreaves (Blinky Bill), Steven Hill (Yalambi’s Bellini Star) and Phillip Lever (Comme II Faut) accumulated a total of 23 penalties in the first round which unfortunately meant the team did not proceed to the second round.

Kermond was first to go of the Aussies, followed by Hargreaves with each picking up nine penalties.

Third rider Hill was the best performing of the Australian contingent attributing five penalties to the team’s overall score.

Lever was last to go and with 16 jumping penalties was the team’s drop score.
Odense is the second of two nominated Nations Cup events for eligible Jumping riders vying for team selection for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The third and final round will be held in Sopot, Poland from 10-12 June.
