The final day of the 2019 Australian Para Dressage Championships saw some outstanding Freestyle performances by a number of combinations across the grades.

As a qualifying and selection event for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, the CPEDI competitors were looking to put their best foot forward to achieve MERs and also impress selectors in terms of target scores for Tokyo.

Emma Booth and Mogelvangs Zidane produced an outstanding Freestyle test in the CPEDI Grade 3, winning with 77.223%. Emma also won the CPEDN Grade 3 Freestyle with Aloha King Ramson on 70.112%.

The CPEDI Grade 4 also saw some big scores, particularly from the winner Sharon Jarvis. Sharon and her new horse Romanos scored 74.875% to win the class, ahead of Claire Graham and Der Beste on 68.6675%. Third place went to Zoe Vorenas and Neversfeld Kipling on 567.875%, while Phoebe Roche and Saddle Up Romper Stomper were fourth on 61.250%.

The CPEDN Grade 4 Freestyle went to Zoe Vorenas and Little Brave on 67.750%, with Lauren French and Eden Eyre Mitchell taking second place.

The CPEDI Grade 1 Freestyle went to Marnie Clapham and Freedom Spyda. The pair, who are new to the competition area, scored an impressive 65.056%.

The CPEDI Grade 2 Freestyle went to Victoria Davies and Andaluka Elegido, with a score of 68.889%.

The CPEDN Grade 5 Freestyle was won by Noella Angel and Mallee Jack on a great score of 67.083%.
