The Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS) has confirmed what was announced initially by the NVBP (Dutch Association of Bitless Riding) that as of April 1, 2014, riders will be allowed to ride bitless in all first level dressage tests of the official KNHS dressage competitions.

According to the NVBP, once the bitless riders advance to higher levels, the bitless riding will be allowed for these levels.

Classes will be judged seperately to dressage classes with bitted horses.
