Terry Snow, owner and developer of the amazing equestrian complex at Bawley Point, Willinga Park, three hours south of Sydney, has a vision for the future in encouraging equestrian excellence in Australia. He is presenting ‘Dressage by the Sea’, an international dressage competition, at his stunning property.

Beautiful gardens, sculptures, architectural excellence, fabulous people and above all an ambiance that exudes friendship. The sport of dressage has come of age and Willinga Park is a venue that will blow you away. The environment and the amazing arenas, inside and out, are state of the art. Every rider that is here is walking around with a feeling of "at last I can ride at a venue that seriously realises my efforts!"

If you think that the humans are blown away by the venue, then you should be a horse… then you would feel extremely important! The stables are huge with soft rubber flooring. If it gets too hot then there are misting sprays that cool the whole stable block. There are automatic waterers and permanent feeders, hot water wash bays that are next to the stables with rubber flooring, and amazing tie ups that are the best and safest you will find. As for the surfaces they have to perform on, they are perfect — allowing riders and horses to feel totally at ease. They are equal to any in the world.

‘Dressage by the Sea’ at Willinga Park will be a competition worth watching. Classes from Novice to Grand Prix will be held. The competition aims to be all-inclusive, encouraging the sport from the young horses and riders right through to Olympic contenders. Some of our Olympians will be riding at the event, and many talented riders from the grass roots up.

Willinga Park is passionate about equestrian sports and encouraging a positivity towards every rider to aspire to be the best they can be, in an environment that will make everyone feel special.

Thursday will see warm ups and an official trot up on Thursday afternoon, while competition starts on Friday morning and continues until Sunday evening.
