FEI to re-open bidding for 2022 WEG as Slovakia pulls out

The 2022 World Equestrian Games (WEG) are without a host after the likely option — Šamorín, Slovakia — pulled out.

The FEI have announced that they will re-open the bidding from December 1.

For the 2018 WEG, Bromont, Canada were the initial hosts but dropped out with less than two years to go. Tryon in North Carolina are now hosting next year’s Games.
