Grand Prix Special win for Simone Pearce & All We Need

By Equestrian Life

Simone Pearce has continued her success at Danube Dressage Champions Tour in Šamorín, Slovakia winning the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on Saturday with All We Need.

The pair won the class on a score of 68.957% at what was the mare’s first ever CDI Grand Prix Special start.

Earlier at the event, the pair won the CDI3* Grand Prix with a score of 70.261%.

“After making her Grand Prix debut last weekend, today she successfully had her first international victory,” said Simone following their win the CDI3* GP. “Although still green and with some bumps to iron out in the future, we are very happy with this milestone and enthusiastically looking forward for what’s to come with this special mare.”

As a score “approaching or exceeding 69%” in a CDI3* Grand Prix test, the result counts is one of two required qualifying scores for Paris as per the Competition Criteria section of Australia’s dressage team Nomination Criteria (as well as an FEI MER). Combinations must also demonstrate experience in two CDI3* (or higher) Grand Prix Special tests during the qualifying period, so Simone and All We Need’s performance on Saturday in the Special will count towards this section of the criteria.

Congratulations Simone!
