Horseback Winery Tours launches multi-million dollar tourism facility

Mornington Peninsula’s premier trail ride provider, Horseback Winery Tours, launched its state of the art tourism facility at its Red Hill headquarters last week following a two year multi-million dollar makeover.

The $8 million dollar investment has seen Horseback Winery Tours raise the bar for Australian trail rides and provides visitors with a truly unique way to experience all that the highly regarded wine region has to offer via horseback.

Partnering with the best wineries and attractions in the area including T’Gallant, Mantons Creek Estate, and the Peninsula Hot Springs, Horseback Winery Tours offers a range of packages starting from $160 designed to deliver the ultimate Peninsula experience.

Chairman of Horseback Winery Tours, Grant Griffiths, could not be happier with the world-class facility and is proud to be a part of driving tourism in Victoria.

“We have always been dedicated to showcasing the very best of the Mornington Peninsula to our visitors, and believe we are now more equipped to provide the best service in the industry – I’m extremely proud of what we have created,” said Griffiths.

“The launch had a special significance for me as the curtain was raised on my own vineyard, Frog Hollow Estate, in celebration of its first ever harvest,” he added.

Considered the most popular tourist attraction in Red Hill and awarded by TripAdvisor with a Certificate of Excellence in 2014, Horseback Winery Tours demonstrates daily the local wine produce on sale across their impressive list of winery partners.

A range of different tours are available to suit all capabilities, with selected packages also incorporating the Peninsula’s best in accommodation and fine dining for those who want that little bit extra.

The Horseback Winery Tour facility itself is home to a 40-horse strong stable of horses and purpose built mounting area, a world class equestrian centre consisting of an indoor and outdoor arena, stables for training dressage horses and 30 acres in post and rail paddocks.
