After a super foggy start to the day, the sun came out accompanied by the freestyle music echoing through the Sydney International Equestrian Centre, and all competitors had smiles on their faces for the final day of competition. Who doesn’t love a freestyle!

The Championship results today were:

Emmersen Mitchell and Double TT Debonair won the Hawkesbury Equine Vet Centre Pony Preliminary Champion with Jorja Power and Namoi Valley Christoph claiming reserve.

Nicole Beryy and Ponderosa Stud Royal Finale had another successful day winning the Barastoc Preliminay Championship and Brianna Cartwright and Macarthur Blossom M took home reserve.

The freestyles were certainly a crowd favourite today with many spectators making the journey to watch all the fun. All competitors were very thankful for Randwick Equine Centre for sponsoring all freestyle classes.

Lucinda Peacey and the lovely Revelwood Ovaltine won the Novice Freestyle. Mackenzie Boundy and her super BZ Fortune Cookie won the Medium Freestyle. Caitlyn Dulhuntly and the sweet Sanlirra Xceptional came first in the FEI Pony Freestyle. Taittinger VDS and I had a ball winning the FEI Junior Freestyle. Tessa Gunn and the beautiful Lets Romance won the Intermediate I Freestyle. Sydney Evans and Dara Park Tequila won FEI Under 25 Grand Prix Freestyle. 

Mary Nitschke and Promise R took home 5th in the Medium freestyle.

Once again all competitors would like to express our gratitude to Mandy, her team, the incredibly knowledgeable judges, the countless volunteers and the sponsors who make events like these possible! I know myself and many others will definitely be jotting this competition down in our diaries for the following years.
