Second day of the 2019 Victorian Youth Dressage Championships wrap up

The 2019 Victorian Youth Dressage Championships, sponsored by Ellanbrae Park commenced on Thursday at Boneo Park on the Mornington Peninsula, and has since been providing some outstanding results. 

 

There were a variety of classes held yesterday, including the Advanced class, Elementary class, the FEI Prix St George class, the FEI U25 Intermediate II Class, and many others. 

 

The winner of the advanced 5.2 class was awarded to Charlie Welsh and Horizonte De Jeu, who received a total winning score of 66.357%. The winner of the Advanced 5.3 class was awarded to Isabelle Luxmoore on Linus WK, who received a score of 69.211%. The Advanced Champion was awarded to Charlie Welsh, who received a total point score of 69, with Isabelle Luxmoore claiming runner-up, with a total point score of 68. 

 

The winner of the Elementary 3.2 and 3.3 class was awarded to Dana Krause and Taittinger VDS, who received a total score of 65.903% in the 3.2, and 70.563% in the 3.3. Dana Krause was also crowned Elementary Champion, with Victoria Meyer coming in second place. 

 

The winner of the FEI Prix St Georges test was awarded to Mary Nitschke and Utopian Cardinal, who received a total winning score of 66.618%.

 

The winner of the FEI Young Rider Team Test was awarded to Lindsey Ware, who was riding Aristede. The combination received a total winning score of 68.922%.

 

The Senior Novice 2.1 class was won by Mackenzie Bright and Faltango, who received a total winning score of 67.963%. The winner of the Senior Novice 2.2 class was awarded to Sophie Bennett and Precious Dreams, who received a total winning score of 70.857% The overall Senior Novice Champion was awarded to Indi Officer and Devlin Park Time Will Tell, who received a total point score of 68, with Mackenzie Bright and Faltango receiving runner-up with a total point score of 66.
