The Queen’s carriage horses enjoy time off during pandemic

By Equestrian Life

While most of us would rather not be stuck at home self-isolating, the Queen’s carriage horses aren’t too worried. With their official duties on hold due to corona virus, they have been turned out and are enjoying a well-earned break.

The Royal Family on Twitter posted the following:

“The Queen’s carriage horses are turned out at Hampton Court Palace, where they will remain whilst they are not required for official duties.

“There are two type of carriage horse - Cleveland Bays & Windsor Greys. All the horses are named by the Queen.”
