Tim Price and Falco claim Pau CCI5*

By Equestrian Life

New Zealander Tim Price has ridden to victory at Pau CCI5* after a flawless weekend with his mount Falco. The pair added just 0.4 of a time penalty in the showjumping to their dressage score to finish on 22.5.

Tom McEwen of Great Britain finished second on his dressage score of 29.6 with CHF Cooliser, while Jonelle Price and McClaren were third on 29.6. Second after the cross country, Irish rider Padraig McCarthy unfortunately had four rails down with Fallulah, dropping him to 17th place.

Australian Kevin McNab finished a fantastic fourth with Scuderia 1918 A Best Friend on 30.2. One showjumping rail prevented them from finishing on their dressage score and saw them drop one place from third after the cross country. An Amazing effort from Kevin, who’s enjoyed great success of late with a team silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics and also winning the 7YO division at the World Championships for young eventing horses.
