Danish medal hopes Cathrine Dufour and Atterupgaards Cassidy have been forced to withdraw from the World Equestrian Games next month due to minor injury.

Cathrine and the 15-year-old Danish Warmblood are currently ranked 4th in the world and their loss is a huge setback for the Danish team. Cassidy sustained a minor paddock injury, which means he can’t be in work at present — therefore ruling him out of WEG.

The Danish dressage team heading to WEG will now be:

Daniel Bachmann Andersen and Blue Hors Zack
Anders Dahl and Selten HW
Betina Jæger and Mane Stream Belstaff
Anna Zibrandtsen and Arlando
